Thermo-Tuff Temperature Sensor

No items found.

For use in industrial processing the Thermo-Tuff is suited for use in the harsh environments such as concrete mixers and aggregate bins. The Thermo-Tuff Temperature Sensor has been designed for rapid and accurate temperature measurement of bulk materials.

Classic applications for the Thermo-Tuff include sand, cement, concrete, asphalt and aggregates. The Hydronix Thermo-Tuff is a step ahead of its competitors utilising high speed, highly accurate electronics to achieve fastest possible thermally isolated temperature information.

  • Response Time (T90), industry leading 56 seconds
  • Easy to install with a choice of fixing options; a mounting collar for mixers and an extension mounting sleeve for aggregate bins.
  • 4-20mA linear output for easy connection to all control systems.
  • 0-80°C temperature range.
  • Rugged, compact and self contained design.
  • Low Cost.

The Thermo-Tuff a rugged, compact temperature sensor designed to measure temperature in industrial processes. Typical applications include measurement in abrasive materials such as sand, aggregates and concrete through to softer materials including grain, animal feed and wood chips.

Measurement Range

0-80 °C

Power Supply

The sensor is powered by the 4-20mA current loop

Cable

Supplied with 4 metre two core screened cable

Construction

  • Body: cast stainless steel
  • Sensing Head: hardened steel

Response Time

Installed T90: Industry leading 56 seconds

Analogue Output

Continuous 4-20mA signal, scaled to ready between 0 and 80 °C
